Spending New Year's in Cervantes surrounded by my loving family and relatives from my mother's side was truly remarkable. The celebration was filled with laughter, warmth, and cherished traditions. A highlight of my new year was the delightful stroll I shared with my mother, exploring the town before the festive eve. At her insistence, I accompanied her to meet her batchmate to attend a renewal of vows where we got to meet Asia's pop heartthrob, Darren Espanto.
By the time we're already at Cervantes, the excitement peaked on New Year's Eve when we gathered around the tree, eagerly exchanging gifts and playing games.
